VoIP Service Providers
In order to use Articuation you will require an account with a VoIP service
provider.
There are many of these available on the Internet, and many allow you
to sign up for free in order to test the service.
Most of the services allow you to talk with other people that are signed up to the service for free and then have a cheap rate for calling standard PSTN numbers. Articulation will work with the majority of SIP VoIP services providers.

Private Network - SIP PBX/Asterisk
Articulation will work on a private network against a SIP gateway or SIP PBX (e.g. Asterisk). Simply set the server
and domain to that of your SIP proxy or gateway; if required enter the user name and password needed for registration.
Your administrator should be able to assist you with the settings.
Articulation does not work with Microsoft Live Communication Server
Skype
Skype uses a closed protocol and so will not work with Articulation. There are, however, an number of gateway products available that allow you to connect Skype and SIP calls together using your PC as a relay between them. More information may be found in our forum.
